Pros
The team's really great, and everyone's working on some pretty interesting stuff. It's nice to see that we're moving in the right direction. Despite the usual ups and downs you'd expect in a growing company, Wayve seems to have things under control. It's like we've figured out what's important and are keeping our focus there, which is pretty cool compared to the usual chaos at similar places
Cons
It's kind of unclear how the company decides on salaries. It's not really transparent, which makes you wonder how fair it is. When it comes to fun stuff like team outings or social events, we don't seem to have as much budget as other places. This makes it a bit tough to plan cool activities without worrying about the cost. Moving up in the company or getting a raise can be pretty tricky. It feels like all the big decisions are made higher up, so our direct managers don't have much say. This means we end up trying to meet some specific requirements that don't always line up with our day-to-day work.
