Pros

It was quick but painful process from hiring to the day I left.

Cons

The discrimination was awful. From the first interview down to the hiring manager, they were pretty blatant with their disinterest but they need someone to fill in the job quick and I was also desperate that time. Overall, the experience was a terrible disaster and would ask everyone I know to avoid coming to this company!

Pros

Flexible hours and supportive coworkers.

Cons

The President's inept leadership trickled down into every aspect of the job, creating a hazardous mess of confusion and poor decision-making. Rotten communication practices made it impossible to get clear answers or any direction that didn't feel like a dead-end. The upper management refused to listen to anyone with actual experience, leading to projects collapsing under unrealistic expectations. It felt like every problem was ignored, creating a frustrating environment where nothing ever got fixed.

Pros

It’s a light yet interesting job editing college application essays. And it’s very rewarding when the students take my inputs positively. I get to work from home so I most definitely enjoy the comforts and independence on the job. I like that the company is family-oriented with a mission to better their future. The company has a strong financial backbone that allows it to utilize multiple media and the latest technology to power its purpose for education.

Cons

There are busy months. But half of the year it’s not so that kind of balances it out.
