Pros

Don't get paid enough here compared to other places. Otherwise, an okay place to work

Cons

Pay is not enough for most nurses there. You'd get paid so much more if you'd quit, go somewhere else and then reapply. Low pay increases. No hazard pay during covid.

Pros

Working from home is an option.

Cons

They pay you a day later every time there is a federal holiday. Every other large company I have worked for has paid us a day early for Thanksgiving and Christmas because they know some of us are struggling and don't want to add to that struggle. To me that is a sign of respect for the hourly workers. This company makes the holidays worse for everyone who is paycheck to paycheck like myself. Today is Thanksgiving, which is always hard for me because my family are far away. I knew I would be paid a day late, so I saved an extra $50 to order myself a nice Thanksgiving meal. However I didn't take into account a bill payment I had setup to autodraft on my usual pay day. So on Thanksgiving day I woke up and checked my balance only to receive a gut punch and the realization that I won't be ordering any meal today and I will spend the day thinking about the food I was going to order.

Pros

teamwork is great. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

since becoming a large company everything has gone downhill. called off 8-20 hours a week d/t overstaffing, but then super short other days. Pay doesn't match experience. starting new grad nurses at almost 40$ but left experienced nurses at 35$. management pretends to listen, then you get written up for petty occurrences. Insurance offered used to be top tier, and now it awful and expensive for what it covers.
