Pros

Good coworkers, enjoy the work I do

Cons

Since the merger it is clear that it is profit over care for patients or employees. No understanding of reality of working in healthcare from upper management, reprimanding staff for not seeing enough patients or not seeing patients quickly enough but don't provide incentive for employees to stay so there is the staffing to see patients, health insurance coverage stinks

Pros

Tuition reimbursement. Magnet hospital that has a clinical ladder. But they make the goals impossible to achieve so they don’t have to pay out extra $.

Cons

Poor Health insurance. The most affordable option is only if you use their doctors/facilities. Not even all of the Endeavor doctors are on the roster, which then they try to charge you a higher co-pay and cover less. Very disorganized! Very difficult to get any clarifications on co-pays for different services. Cigna blames Endeavor and vice-a-versa when you call with questions/billing issues. They charge employees to park in the garage. They got rid of the employee discount at the cafeteria. Raises your constantly told “be happy if you get 2-2.5% increase”. Which doesn’t even cover your cost of living. They have a very high turn over and do little to remain competitive with pay (esp for senior staff). They do nothing for retention of nurses.

Pros

Not many pros to be honest. It’s okay. Your experience depends on your manager.

Cons

They “regulate” nurse pay across the board. It doesn’t matter what specialty you’re in, you’ll get paid the same as everybody else. It’s infuriating. They say they’re doing this to stop “job hopping,” but they already have a policy that says you can’t transfer departments until you’ve been in a position for 6 months. They’re just cheap. The health insurance is absolute trash too. Also god forbid you need to make an appointment with a doctor in the system. You’ll wait until next year; no exaggeration. Good luck.
