Pros

Better paid time off than most other medical groups, 1 hour lunches

Cons

very disorganized and poorly run. As a nurse, you’re doing a lot of non-nurse duties while still trying to accomplish your hundreds of nursing duties. I’ve watched the management bully and discriminate against employees with disabilities. There’s a lot of favoritism at play. Inappropriate discussions with staff by management. They discourage error event reporting whereas most other agencies I’ve worked for encourage reporting so they can improve outcomes. Northwestern and advocate aurora are much more concerned about patient and staff outcomes than Northshore/Endeavor. I’m horrified by the mistakes and issues with patients and staff they’ve let slide. Not a safe place to work.

Pros

Remote work. Individual teams are made up of amazing people.

Cons

IT leadership since the merger is horrible. They lack the skills to manage teams. Poor communication. Complete lack of transparency. They care very little about staff. The culture has become non-existent and morale is the lowest I’ve ever experienced.
