The Reason Everyone Quit This Summer

Pros

401K Tuition Reimbursement Friendly Co-Workers Competitive Pay for College Job

Cons

The lending department is run like a glorified daycare, to the extent that if you need to use the bathroom you should ask permission first so you don’t get in trouble. Management does not take anything you say seriously as an entry level employee. Even claims of sexual harassment failed to be passed in from managers to HR. Team leads in Provo let their favorite employees get away with everything, and then they turn around and will fire those they don’t like for anything they can think of. If you sign out of your phone for any amount of time you are liable to be fired for “time-clock fraud.” They also never seem to hire enough people to work during the busy part of the year, even though they start every spring and summer terribly understaffed. They try to remedy these issues by bringing on dozens of temps at a time, most of whom the quickly fire over the next 2 weeks. All of this contributes to an anxious and hyper-competitive workforce that all fear for their job security.

Pros

The office space is well maintained and makes for a nice environment. Good location.

Cons

The environment is incredibly hostile and everyone is looking out for themselves creating a very unpleasant culture. Management has no interest in helping developing employees' skills and development. Turn-over is incredibly high.
