- Growth Growth Growth - Lots of growth leads to many more opportunities. It's a very dynamic environment. Lots of new and varied projects. More leadership positions become available on a regular basis. I've been exposed to lots of different engineering problems and have had the opportunity to grow my career at one company. - The people. Always the people. I think we take for granted sometimes how many smart and driven people we get to work with at Enercon everyday. If you don't like the people you work with, it doesn't matter. You won't be happy. But the people at Enercon make it a very rewarding experience, on good days and bad

Cons

-Change. Lots of change is always occurring at Enercon as the company grows and always seeking ways to do things better. I find that exciting myself but understand that change can be stressful to many people and can cause some angst.

Pros

Highly skilled technical staff were more than capable with assigned projects. Information between the teams flowed extremely well which resulted in "no dropped balls" during projects.

Cons

Project and upper management left a lot to be desired. This was due to direction by "events" rather than past lessons learned. In other words, the schedule was unnecessarily changed daily due to unanticipated events. This always led to over-budgets and blown schedules.

Cons

- Everybody is very busy with a variety of utility & developer projects, so recruitment needs to keep up with workload - ENERCON started as a nuclear consulting firm, so it does take extra effort with internal sales & marketing team to establish our Power Delivery presence in new regions
