Pros

I've been with Enerpac (in a corporate position) for 5 years. I've been promoted twice, so I do feel that there are growth opportunities here. The company overall is moving in the right direction.

Cons

Turnover is extremely high. After 5 years, I am now the most tenured person in my department. I have also had 5 managers in 5 years, soon to be 6. In April, we were all asked to come back to the office at least 3 days per week, after 2 years fully remote. I have not been enjoying this for various reasons, but the part that bothers me the most is that when they said "everyone" needs to come back, they didn't really mean it. We have hired many people during the pandemic that aren't local, so they continue to be fully remote. In addition, there are people who just show up in the office when they feel like it, and certainly don't meet the 3 day in office per week requirement. I feel as though I'm being punished for living locally and following the rules.

We appreciate your positive feedback about the company's growth and direction. It's always great to hear that our employees are happy with the direction we are taking. In regard to your concern about employee turnover, we take this issue seriously and are constantly working on ways to improve employee satisfaction and retention. We understand that turnover can be disruptive to our business, and we are committed to finding ways to reduce it. Regarding the flexible working days, we strive to accommodate all of our employees' needs to the best of our ability, as we understand that everyone has different circumstances. During the time of the pandemic, we hired some employees who are considered Remote Workers and are too far away to be able to come into an Enerpac office. We believe that some work in the office contributes to a positive company culture. Thank you for your thoughts on this topic and your contributions.

Pros

My boss was great, internal staff have a few bright spots too. Benefits are strong and pay is good ok.

Cons

99% of leaders are awful. As we discussed, too many generals and not enough soldiers. The new CEO is a bad person that ruined the culture in a few months. He did and is doing a headcount cut and eliminating jobs for the sake of numbers. He will spend more on outside services to do these jobs, but the shareholders must want this. He also never spoke to me, not once. I had my role eliminated in the 2nd round of cuts. Run for the hills!! Greener grass does exist.
