Pros

Long standing tradition of strong industry product.

Cons

As a remote employee, they have stop supporting home office expenses. It is now the responsibilty of the employee to purchase internet, ink, paper, equipment, or supplies with their own money, INCLUDING CELL PHONE. They claim that a stipened amount of 50/MO for cell and an addtional 1000/YR for these expenses. However, these are all pre-tax dollars so in reality we get 40/MO and an addition 600/YR. These people are so out of touch with reality. Terrible place. The company is so horribly unorganized behind the scenes. No one can ship on time and often times there are days/weeks before communication gets back to you. The company has not back filled any new positions in hopes to drive bottom line profit up. It is a pathetic approach as this affects the company moral. The moral is so down, but they turn a blind eye. No advancement opportunities.

Pros

Great benefits for both hourly and salaried employees. Lower level Managers seem to genuinely care about their subordinates. A lot of opportunity exists for those early in their careers or more experienced staff that are politically savy.

Cons

Office politics, excessive employee turnover due to quits, firing, retirement. Little attention paid to setting those newly promoted to lead, supervisory, or management up to be successful.

Pros

For me, location. Base pay

Cons

They do not invest in their operations or their people. During the COVID19 pandemic, they decided to give all employees pay cuts, as well as cancelling all bonuses and 401k contributions for the year... even though they had hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank from selling off half of their business units the year before. They made the conscious decision to negatively impact their employees instead of tap some of that cash to stay afloat. Benefits are awful, and they do NOT pay out unused vacation days when you decide to leave. They are just cheap about everything... They tried to counter offer me to get me to stay, but they even cheaped-out on the counter offer! Stay away from this company, unless you have no other options.
