Pros

You get unlimited coffee to put up with management

Cons

They misled pretty much everyone here. The company is absolutely the worst. They actually mark you down if you sneeze on the phone or cough. Management is incompetent. As of matter of fact the entire management team was fired when I was there. On top of that they fired me because I got sick and didnt meet the one year requirement for FMLA even though I was there for a year and a half but my first few months I had to go through a temp agency. This company chews you out and then spits you out.

We strive to be as transparent as possible through our recruitment process about role expectations and responsibilities and are disappointed you felt mislead. Enova is committed to strict adherence with all federal, state, and local leave laws, including the FMLA as it relates to all Associates, including those who started with us through a staffing agency. We really appreciate your feedback as it helps us understand areas of importance to employees and opportunities for improvement!

Growing pains

Pros

Good pay relative to market Nice perks People are very smart and colleagues tend to get along well together Work life balance is respected

Cons

While perks are very nice, actual benefits are bad: worst healthcare anywhere in technology, poor 401k plan with a low match, and very poor vacation time. No paid sick leave. Growing pains means: Lack of tech resources to get your projects done. Lack of career growth opportunities. Enova isn't a startup anymore, which means we aren't promoting people every year anymore, which is fine. What's not ok is the way some senior leadership members got promoted up very quickly in the "early days" and now they're very young, VERY immature, and generally just jerks. Most colleagues treat each other well; why are these few lucky leadership members who were around since the beginning allowed to be bullies? It's very much "their way or the highway" and they only pretend to be open to suggestion. They play favorites like mad. They're generally just a rude, abrasive bunch and they're extremely influential and hard to avoid at the company.

toxic culture-keep looking!

Pros

They invest heavily in technology and still have some .com perks like breakfast and pop available in break rooms as well as left over lunches from conferences.

Cons

The call center had continual issues with bed bugs. Hr will try to bury negative reviews by having new hires submit good reviews on 1st day of employment Management is very top heavy and nepotism and cronyism are rampant. Upper management doesn't care about staff and considers everyone expendable and that is the attitude and tone you will receive. Culture is very clickish and if you're not part of the crowd you will soon be shown the door. Don't be fooled, this company is an online loan entity =legal loan sharks. The debt collection aspect of this company is exactly the environment you would expect-very seedy. Very limited job opportunities or growth from within.
