Pros

Remote work with several nice coworkers.

Cons

Scattered training. Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Inconsistent information given, then told we should know. Ask questions, but if that person doesn’t know, then what? Ask someone else and then told ask the trainer (who didn’t know to begin with!). This is seriously the most disorganized operation I have worked for. Want to reduce turnover? Train your trainers. Help your supervisors. Be good in how you act, not just in word only. Treat people with respect. I am happy to learn, and own my mistakes, but good grief. Give people a chance to ask their questions without talking over them and be consistent in the information. Even if it changes, certainly it doesn’t in 30 minutes. Don’t throw your trainees under the bus because you don't know something. The lack of quality training is so disheartening, and I know of at least 10 others who feel the same way I do. When we speak up, we are belittled. I am sure the response from Ensemble today will be how we need to reach out and they will help. Thank you, but I would rather not have a response than be told a generic half truth.

Pros

The only pro is that it is solely a work from home company, so there is a lot of flexibility during the day for appointments or personal errands. Which means you have the opportunity to work "after hours" to make up your time and not use PTO for those things.

Cons

1. No choice. My hospital sold us out to them and we either had to get onboard or loose our job. We were paired with a job role that Ensemble felt was best based off of our hospital personell records, not based off of any 1:1 meetings & discussions about what we desired as our specialty to code or career goals. 2. They can preach it any which way they want that quality is their main goal, but their mail goal is ONLY productivity. And if you're not hitting your "goals" every day, you are penalized. Called out publicly in Teams meetings. 3. You are expected to work 24/7 at end of month. Including holidays. You are emailed & harassed about how many hours can you work to meet those end of month goals or end of year goals. They can sugar coat it all they want, but you will not have a personal life outside of Ensemble during those critical ends of month, end of quarter and end of year times. It's all about how many can get out the door. 4. Meetings. So.many.meetings. Then meetings about the meetings. Then complaining that productivity is not being met. 5. Their onboarding process is a awkward and overall, just not useful. Onboarding meetings were very overly enthusiastic HR people that only bragged about the company. Some of them came across as a sleezy car salesman it was so overly fake. The more you have to brag on yourself & try to sell someone on how great your; the chances are that you are not that great. 6. Their benefits are not great. I understand it comes at a cost to provide, but this is not a company to retire from, especially given that they do not offer a matching 401K of any kind.

Pros

401 K matching HSA contributions Discounted Healthcare Premiums

Cons

They would rather hire someone with no experience at a starting wage of $15.00 per hour than invest in their current employees. The lowball offers even evidence of how much one should make based on years of experience and additional education acquired.
