Pros

Best thing about Ensemble is flex time which just started about 1 yr ago.

Cons

The unfairness. Going to senior Management does not do work. Retaliation. First hand here. If you do ask a question you will just be told something to smooth it over. Turn over is unreal with associates. Of course its not with management because they are all in the same click together. Unless one isn't liked, then the person is demoted. Career advancement is for whom they chose.

Pros

CEO is great and she wants the company to do well. She tried to create events and activities to build the morale. I feel she cares!

Cons

Pre-Access is micromanaged. People are treated unfairly. There is a lack of respect from leadership. You may voice your concerns but you will be ignored and may even experience backlash. People who are promoted aren’t qualified. It’s often just based on who your friend is. Supervisors will gossip about you in private and maybe even accidentally send it in an IM to the entire department. They will advise you to trust the process. My advice is protect your peace!

We make it our mission to have Ensemble be the best job that our employees ever have. It’s heartbreaking to read the title of your post. Especially in light of you saying that you’ve seen that I really care about our employees. I know there will always be challenges and opportunities for growth so I take every opportunity to invite any employee with thoughts to share to come to my office. I believe every problem has a solution and I am very sorry that I did not get to hear from you while you were dealing with challenges. If you are still open to it, I would absolutely welcome the opportunity to conduct an exit interview with you. We have benefitted from extremely low turnover, so exit interviews haven’t been part of our standard operation, but as we’ve scaled to a multi-billion dollar enterprise we will be putting processes like that in place. As for diversity and inclusion, this is very close to my heart and I am so proud to have a 35 member council for D and I. They represent the wonderful diversity of our associate population and give voice to what is on their hearts and minds. Part of the reason that council exists is to support associates with exactly the sorts of concerns you raise. I regret that you did not take up a dialog with a member of that team or take advantage of any of the many other feedback channels we have created to make sure we are listening and responding to the concerns of our associates. We put in a great effort to be an exemplary organization with regard to diversity and inclusion. Every quarter, at the town hall meeting, I remind the staff that my door is open. Certainly we act on feedback when we receive it on Glassdoor, but we make such better progress when hour associates work as part of the solution. I wish we’d had the chance to do that with you. Your post indicates that you’ve already left the company, but I still welcome you anytime. - Shannon White, President

Pros

Great coworkers who really work as a team, remote coding opportunities and opportunities to learn. Growing business.

Cons

Forced to work weekends, mandatory OT for years, expected to work it no matter what and expected to work extra hours to make up for paid holidays and when using PTO
