Poor management and high workload

Pay was decent and team members were friendly.

Cons

Company has sister company they hire for billing which is not operated professionally or efficiently. Workload is not feasible for 40 hour week and they expect you to work outside those hours. There isn't any proper training and if any errors occur you will be scrutinized for it. Management is not capable and micro manages. Very bizarre bahavior by upper management, including being unprofessional, mood instability and gets very upset when you point out their own errors. Useless meetings take up half the day. Very uncomfortable atmosphere and no work life balance.

Undertrained, Underpaid and High Pressure Work Environment

Work from home , affordable health benefits .

Cons

Compensation does not align with workload and expectations . High Pressure environment with little opportunity to reset between tasks . Communication from management can feel impersonal and lacks constructive support . Inconsistent or unclear processes that impact efficiency and performance. Overall work environment may not support long-term sustainability or employee well being.

Pros

Ensemble is a growing company, and I found the people pleasant to work for. Many of the employees are brought in when their company gives Ensemble the revenue cycle contract so many start with a great base knowledge of the company and providers.

Cons

The policies are enforced with no review of employee history or background. I had been with my company 15 years and had excellent reviews by my employer, good relationships with the Providers, and when began working for Ensemble until the day I was let go I ran the entire Physician audit portion of the RCM by myself. I have a slight vision issue which can affect the colors I see. Ensemble has a 3 missed Phishing emails in a year, and it is termination. I was terminated despite my hard work for the company, many times 7 days a week, without any consideration for my vision issue because it was hard to see the redbar on the emails. In a 2-minute team meeting was terminated. As the company grows, they need to do better.
