BEWARE- Regular Mass Layoffs

Pros

They are really great at appearing as an up and coming mental health software organization.

Cons

They are financially struggling much more than they have let on to their current employees and customers. Mass turnover in the last 6 months. New C suite has arrived and have “quietly restructured” the org- including mass layoffs as recent as August 2024. I highly recommend, for your own mental health, STAY AWAY from this company. Quite ironic that they claim to be an industry leader in mental health software, yet they discard their employees as if they're trash on the street. It pains me to know there are businesses that operate in this manner. Spare yourself a massive headache and wait on the next opportunity to present itself— away from Therapy Brands.

Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. We take your feedback very seriously and deeply regret that your experience with us has been so distressing. We always encourage team members to ask questions with a commitment to answering each question received, whether live or as a follow up to the company. We acknowledge the recent restructuring and associated layoffs, which have been challenging for everyone involved. It's important to note that despite these changes, we have experienced the lowest turnover rate in three years. Decisions regarding layoffs are never taken lightly. We aimed to approach this difficult decision with the utmost care, offering an inclusive support package to those impacted. We strive to be transparent with our team members about our financial performance and any necessary steps we need to take to adjust our operations. During our quarterly town hall meetings, Our CEO and CFO share how our company holistically is performing against our goals for the year. We are committed to continually refining our processes and support systems to ensure we handle such transitions as responsibly and empathetically as possible. Regarding the influence of our private equity ownership, while they provide direction and support, we strive to make decisions that balance the needs of all our stakeholders, including our valued employees. Thank you again for your honesty. Your experience and insights are crucial for us to understand how we can improve and ensure a better environment for all our team members. We wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor.

Pros

As PMD should have knowledge of market, etc. but whole job is creating leads which are reported on weekly. Management is a bunch of scared rabbits. I pushed back on a stupid request from CMO because I had no time, got fired like everyone does eventually.

Cons

PE co., management team, no investment in products but they wasted time and money rebranding.

Pros

Therapy Brands offers enticing benefits

Cons

I witnessed numerous colleagues being let go without much explanation or warning. This has created a toxic atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, where everyone feels expendable.
