Millions were spent on a flashy rebrand and “transformation” effort while the company’s financial health continues to spiral, insiders already know funds are projected to run dry by early next year. Layoffs have become a routine occurrence, presented as “strategic workforce management,” but in reality they’re a symptom of poor planning and short-term thinking. Entire teams are dismantled only to be rebuilt months later under new leadership with the same issues repeating. Nepotism within People Ops is especially blatant. ELT and SLT consistently make uninformed decisions that impact every department — often without understanding their own business lines. The culture is toxic and discourages cross-functional communication, leaving teams siloed and frustrated. Senior leaders often rely on others to do the heavy lifting, only to repackage that work as their own. The new CEO came in swinging but has yet to show real understanding or direction.
