Pros

The company benefits are nice.

Cons

The company does not, overall, feel the need to invest in their products or talent. This leaves hard working employees picking up the pieces when the software is failing, customers are mad and colleagues are leaving for better paying jobs.

Feedback is extremely valuable to us as we continue to better the employee experience for all, so we thank you for sharing. Talent management, training and product development are at the forefront of our focus. We are actively listening and gathering feedback through multiple forums. In 2020, Therapy Brands launched our employee engagement survey, which will be run multiple times again this year. We are also listening to departing employees through detailed exit conversations. This feedback enables us to become better as an organization. We encourage all team members to actively engage with their leadership and Senior Leaders at any one of the open forums provided to all.

Pros

There are many talented and passionate employees who genuinely care about their work and the customers they serve. Most of the company’s progress is driven by individual contributors who continue to show up and do their best despite the instability surrounding them.

Cons

Leadership is in complete disarray. In just one year, six executives have come and gone, each leaving behind a new “strategy” that never lasts. Millions were spent on a flashy rebrand and “transformation” effort while the company’s financial health continues to spiral, insiders already know funds are projected to run dry by early next year. Layoffs have become a routine occurrence, presented as “strategic workforce management,” but in reality they’re a symptom of poor planning and short-term thinking. Entire teams are dismantled only to be rebuilt months later under new leadership with the same issues repeating. Nepotism within People Ops is especially blatant. Key roles are filled through personal relationships rather than capability. Experienced, high-performing employees are replaced by friends of leadership with inflated titles and pay. The message to employees is clear, connections matter more than competence.

Pros

Remote Remote Remote Remote Remote I had to write 5 words

Cons

If you’re looking for a place with competent leadership and collaboration, look elsewhere. ELT and SLT consistently make uninformed decisions that impact every department — often without understanding their own business lines. The culture is toxic and discourages cross-functional communication, leaving teams siloed and frustrated. Senior leaders often rely on others to do the heavy lifting, only to repackage that work as their own. The new CEO came in swinging but has yet to show real understanding or direction. Save yourself the frustration — this is not a healthy environment for anyone looking to grow, learn, or be supported.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re glad to hear that our remote-first approach was a highlight for you—it’s a core part of how we support flexibility and autonomy across teams. We also acknowledge your feedback around leadership and collaboration. Thank you again for your insights and for being part of our journey.
