Management doesn't walk their talk

Pros

Great benefits, smart co workers, decent open office plan, awesome educational opportunities. The organization's mission is worthwhile.

Cons

Senior management has spent many resources ($ (consultants) and time investment) to promote diversity, create an atmosphere of trust as well as a willingness to listen to the employees concerns and address the issue. It's not working. Staff works in fear of losing their jobs because when concerns are raised it seems that the the naysayer "disappears" with no explanation. Senior mgmnt is a closed club. You will feel its disproval trickle down to your department IF the department director shares it with the group. No one actually talks with you about whether you are meeting expectations. The mid year and annual reviews are useless. There is little room for growth because the organization is top heavy. The path to a promotion is not made clear even if you request the 'how to'. I will be leaving within the next 3 months to a job that allows me to grow and use and expand my talents. I want to earn my 401k match. If you are a current hire I suggest using Enterprise as a stepping stone to move up the ladder in your career.

Strong Mission, Leaders in Transition

Pros

Service to low-income people in a job that won’t make you a low-income person Smart & committed coworkers Desire to advance racial equity internally and through programs and deployment of capital Great pay for a nonprofit 2 hours off every Friday during summers and all of quarantine for non-essential workers

Cons

Too much corporate swirl; changing everything at once - from the strategic plan to the leaders to the systems, everything changed plus Covid... why didn’t the leadership see that they were asking too much, making it harder for people to actually do their day to day assignments

Fantastic people, but average company

Pros

First let me begin by saying the the people that work at Enterprise are on average some of the most wonderful human beings that you will ever encounter. The pay is very competitive and the vacation package is phenomenal. The benefits are also very good.

Cons

This place has no direction or identity. It behaves as though it's a Fortune 500 company, but it isn't. There are a lot of very shady practices going on behind the scenes and so much secrecy surrounding everything that they do. It makes for a very bizarre atmosphere at times.
