Pros

Good availability of software, excellent IT support. Nice and bright people at coworker level.

Cons

People with years of experience suddenly disappear. People are forced out with no regard to good performance appraisals or past contributions to the company. Management is totally absorbed in their own self worth. I did not realize how underpaid I was until I looked at the world beyond Envision. Being forced out turned out to be a good thing. I did not realize what a bad reputation Envision has for working people to death and then encouraging them to leave with no salary increase or job growth.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts; we are very sorry to hear of your negative experience. Envision has 90% retention of our employees and 32% of our employees are with the company for 5 years or more. We recently worked through a career mapping exercise to correct the previous lack of visible career pathing. We provide professional development opportunities to advance employees career growth. We are advocates of work-life balance and our resourcing is analyzed to ensure that our colleagues are not overworked. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great team members and talented employees who try their best to deliver for clients. Unlimited PTO, if your teams have capacity for you to utilize it. Good benefits, with a true remote and flexible working environment. Used to have a very open leadership team and "small" company type of feel.

Cons

Executive and senior leadership continue to have no solid direction of the future of the company, besides mimicking what caused majority of "leaders" to jump ship from previous companies. If you take a look at the leadership team, they lean heavy from one certain big agency *cough IPG cough*. Promotions keep being withheld and the pathway to promotion is ambiguous and everchanging, and the salary still isn't up to industry standards. A lot of these people with big and fancy titles wax poetic about billable hours and bringing in more business but yet do nothing to empower those underneath them and get paid big salaries anyways. Company culture has nosedived since Meg Heim took over as CEO and has yet to return to what we had previous (I am not hopeful it ever will). Company morale is at an all time low, which is evident by very talented people, who've been with the company 5-10+ years, leaving for other opportunities.

Pros

There are many different divisions at Envision and I’m sure not all are bad. Coworkers are the only pro at this company.

Cons

The common theme at Envision is people are overworked. Management has a problem with hiring additional help and when they do they hire freelancers or people that are not qualified to do the work. The company changed a lot in the last few years and not for the better. People are underpaid and leaving left and right. Middle management on the account side needs some work. There’s a lot of drama and micromanaging which makes for a very difficult work environment.
