Pros

Competitive pay while also being in low cost-of-living area. Work-life balance isn't terrible (specifically for Software Devs) Friendly community

Cons

No WFH, required to live within a certain radius of their campus and commute to and from the office every day Extremely dependent on team; some are drowning, others are coasting PTO is not great, no unionization

Pros

They have good pay here The culinary team rocks

Cons

If there was ever a company with bureaucratic red tape and technical debt this is the one. I spend very little time coding and most of my time in meetings, making/reviewing designs and trying to make my way through the extremely complex system in place. Additionally, they won't let you work remotely. All employees must live in the Madison area. This is becoming an industry standard and the company is bleeding talent due to other companies being willing to offer remote work. It's hard to empathize with management's iron fist on this policy.
