Pros
Extremely stable company with good pay and great health insurance. Annual raises are expected, as are bonuses. They are extremely mission driven, and they will not hesitate to do what's right for customers, even if it means losing revenue/profit. My coworkers were great people, both in terms of talent and in terms of willingness to help out in times of need. They are upfront about the expectation of putting in ~45 working hours/week, so if that sounds undesirable, this is not the company for you. You have a lot of freedom to choose your own development path. There is are opportunities advance to Epic management and/or be meeting with hospital C-suite executives in 1-2 years if you are performing well, or you can stick with in-the-weeds customer work for basically as long as you want.
Cons
Your experience can vary significantly depending on which team you get put on and which customers you get assigned. It could be great, it could be boring, or it could be a nightmare. There is flexibility to move around eventually, but you have to prove you can do well with what you're given, first. Epic is extremely dedicated to its vision as a software company that serves its customers and makes healthcare better. If you happen to align exactly with upper management's vision, this will be amazing for you. If you don't, there will be some things they do in service of their vision that will irritate and/or anger you, It's up to you to decide if the paycheck and the rest of the company are enough to offset those decisions. This also often means Epic ignores industry trends: sometimes that's great with things like not moving to an open-office floorplan; sometimes it's not great with things like very limited remote work options.
