Pros

Smart people to work with. It was difficult to adjust in the beginning, but once I knew what I was doing, things got easier. I've been lucky since the team I'm on uses C# and not VB.

Cons

My biggest gripe with Epic is that it is in Madison. It is not the place to be for a young single person, especially if you are a minority.

Pros

- Great compensation - Traveling lifestyle can be fun at first - Great experience right out of college

Cons

- Work-life balance is terrible - Can easily become overstretched due to be staffed to too many projects

Pros

you can learn a lot about health care, I enjoy the everyday life doing development using internal tools like EpicStudio and EMC2, which makes code integration much easier.

Cons

technical is outdated, I am using VB6 for client development, cache for server side coding.
