Pros

Salary is great. There are a lot of interesting projects to work on, and you're given a lot of responsibility right away. The people you work with are great and what I liked most about working at Epic.

Cons

Some benefits like parental leave are mediocre for a tech company. Work life balance can be difficult to maintain and you need to learn to say No a lot. Upper management is out of touch, and Epic's handling of Covid for its employees is embarrassing.

Pros

Compensation, Decent W/L Balance (~43 hrs), Customer Success over Sales Success, Collaborative, Very stable

Cons

Heavy Dev Process, Tends to force first workable solution over longer term efficient solutions, Lowish PTO, Madison can get boring after a couple years, hires primarily out of College so most folks have only ever worked there, " for Culture"
