Pros

Great environment to work. The R&D team works in offices that are private enough to get work done, but close-nit enough to casually drop in and talk with one another. Feels a lot like a college campus. I'm working on projects that matter, not simply helping someone sell more Coke or market the lifestyle of driving a Cadillac.

Cons

Healthcare organizations are (for good reason) slow to implement change and most of the technology used for front end interfaces is old. The pace of change and adoption, however, is accelerating.

Pros

It was a good place to start. I learned how to conduct myself in a professional manner and I learned how to maintain a good work ethic.

Cons

The work/life balance is poor. Expect to spend the majority of your time working.
