Pros

Every single year the company has blown out their Travel Budget so they ask (tell) all of their Outside Sales AM's to stay home from September to the end of the year. You are asked to return phone calls and e-mails. You are able to travel with your phone and computer to Florida, Hawaii etc......and nobody knows!! This is a huge benefit as you can use all of your vacation time earlier in the year and still get your monthly car allowance while you are told to stay home. In the end you get about 5 months vacation!!

Cons

The approval process is dysfunctional, very dysfunctional. You have to get everyone in Corporate to approve everything so they justify their jobs. If you just got rid of this layer the company would take off. everyone in Corporate is programmed to just say NO, NO and No again. Or we can't do that!

The pay isn't too bad but don't expect much if anything in raises. That is the only good thing. But it isn't worth the stress.

Cons

Unpredictable hours at the Walker, MI location. Sometimes it's busy, other times you are lucky to get 30 hours a week. The company is at an all time low with stocks and will be lucky to make it another two years. The turnover rate is insane and you never know how bad your shift will be as it's impossible to predict who will show up. They expect you to work multiple positions at the same time including jumping back and forth between departments. It is highly stressful. The management sucks. They play favorites and continuously make horrible decisions. They will lie to your face. They don't listen and will walk away as you are taking to them. There is no on site HR so you are stuck dealing with them for most issues. Complaining about anything will get you fired.
