Pros

-Remote work option -Raffle draws (sometimes) -Average Pay

Cons

-No work life balance, I say again, NO WORK LIFE BALANCE. -Definitely not a place for family people. -Upper management from Accounting department is very annoying. Would yell at you, make fun of you instead of helping if you don’t understand anything. -Don’t give a damn whether you’re a new or an old employee, you have to know everything without getting trained. -Would lie in the interview about being transparent while they are not at all. -PTO is offered but they make sure you can’t use them. -Employees are talking crap behind the management but afraid to say that to their face. -Really high turnover rate.

Pros

-Pay was okay -Opportunity to WFH -Prizes from raffle draws (only if you're lucky enough)

Cons

-Extremely long hours -Discriminates employees if they don't satisfy the upper management -Toxic environment (not sure about other departments, but the accounting department was horrible) -Too much micromanaging from the upper level causes delays in finishing the job which they hate but keep repeating the same thing over and over. -Will make you forget about your family by leaving you with tons of works every day (weekends included) -PTOs are just so-called

Pros

If you are educated in the field and are confident in your skill you will succeed! The woman who work along side you are great! Some owners are ready to listen some aren't but overall ewc is good if you're ready to hustle and bust your butt. Unfortunately managers and front desk workers are not paid or qualified enough but are mostly receptive to logical requests and needs

Cons

I went from making 50k per year to 30k. After multiple pay structure changes, poor training and lack of attention to center needs, quality of staff and services have dropped dramatically. Prices have risen every two years while pay has dropped a great deal! Maintenance of centers has dwindle. Lower cost pots have replaced better functioning ones as well as other corners being cut. As a former wax trainer who was paid for my expertise for educating a producing qualified waxers I am no longer used due to the cost. New waxers are now trained by unlicensed managers or unqualified waxers for no additional pay. There is no continuing education and have never been enlightened of career advancement beyond employment of a center. Also as a top waxer for one center, moving to another local center could create rifts within states between owners and is often declined
