Pros

Flexible hours. if you know the right people then you will get treated and talked to kindly, if not then you're on your own.

Cons

There is ZERO communication with any upper management. They change their minds on how things will run on what seems like a daily basis and will give you a max of 24 hour notice to implement them and you are expected to just do it and not ask questions. They don't value the few good employees they do have. HORRIBLE PAY. No accountability. They will reward hard work and good employees with even more work. You should not have to go to work and feel like if you voice an opinion or disagree with the company that you are in danger of being fired, but that is the environment here and anyone posting 5 star reviews are drinking the kool-aid and blowing smoke in fear of being out of a job.

Thank you for providing very candid feedback about your experience at Eventus. We want you to know that we hear you and also that every review is read and responded to. We resonate with your perspective about the many changes that have occurred recently, especially as our Medical Assistant population has shifted from being remote to in the field once again post Covid-19. Change takes time and there has been a lot of change in the recent months that will have long term impact on the success of the company in a strong way. We are working behind the scenes to truly improve processes for everyone, especially those who have been with the company for as long as your tenure. We truly are thankful of your continued time and service to Eventus. As a reminder, Eventus has a very strong and enforced no retaliation policy that is supported by our Chief Compliance Officer. If you feel that your ability to speak freely about improvement efforts has been infringed upon, please contact them immediately. Our managers and HR department take great care in providing compensation strategies that align with market trends, research, and rates comparable to our competitors as well as considering individual income goals. If you feel that this has not been the case, we advise reaching out directly to your manager and HR. We do know that everything is not perfect at Eventus but we are working as a team to make Eventus great, we thank you for your part in helping to do that. Should you wish to discuss further the feedback you've given here as an effort to improve Eventus, please feel free to reach out to the Training & Clinical Education team or HR.

Great company to work for

Pros

Flexibility/Independence - Care is decentralized and so providers have a degree of flexibility in their schedule and workflow that is not typical in a clinic setting. Pay - Productivity payment model is fair and provides transparent path to increasing pay. Meaningful work - You develop excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills providing primary care/internal medicine for mostly older, community-dwelling adults. Supportive resources - Leadership want you to be successful and clinical support is built into the operating structure of the company (i.e. ongoing clinical education opportunities, Up-to-date access, responsive training/education department). Responsive/empathic leadership - Most of the employees in leadership roles are clinicians (MDs, NPs, PAs, LCSWs, PhD, etc.) who have done/are doing the work themselves which helps to keep expectations fair. Growth opportunities - There are roles available to experienced clinicians that are primarily non-clinical and provide opportunity to diversify your work-experience. Benefits - Generous and straightforward

Cons

Changes/Growth - There's no well-worn path for how to provide care to this patient population and so when this is combined with the company's growth, changes in medicare, and changes in medical technology, it can feel like there are frequently changes happening in terms of company structure, processes, standards, etc. Up side is that the changes tend to move things in the direction of making it easier for the clinicians and other employees to do their jobs and enjoy their lives. Fragmented technologies - There are a lot of digital tools the company utilizes to keep things running and not much interoperability between them. This means multiple sources of information and points of communication to accomplish relatively simple tasks.
