Pros

Amazing work culture (it really is), diverse work force, a lot of opportunities for advancement, flexible employer, great constructive managers, uncapped commission, quarterly bonuses, provides great experience - this is a great entry level position

Cons

Below average base pay that at some point is just not competitive anymore ( I have seen a lot of people leave for better paying recruiter positions after 6 months to a year at Apex), They do provide benefits but you have to pay for the enhanced package to make it worth it (they also say they offer pet insurance but not really they just reference an outside company) , very performance based, its all about your call numbers - if you don't average 40+ a day managers assume you are not doing your job. I think its really important that potential applicants know this.

Pros

The culture in this office is top notch. A lot of good friendships in the office and people are always willing to help or pep you up. Friendly competition but definitely not cut throat. Commission potential is insane. Work/life balance is unparalleled. Managers are very transparent and approachable. No matter your tenure, your voice and ideas are always heard and sometimes implemented. To a good degree, your effort = your paycheck. Lots of incentives and little competitions to reward your efforts and keep everyone engaged.

Cons

First few months of building up your skillset and getting starts can be a struggle bc lower base pay. If you don't give up and don't lower your effort, you'll start seeing your paycheck increase. Just have to be resilient, push forward and pass that hump.

Simply the best contractor experience I have had

Pros

Amazing amount of support, feedback and advocacy. They found me a job that was right for me, my level of skill and background and kept me updated through the entire process from application thru start of assignment

Cons

Some of the paperwork for the contractor agreement is out of date between them and the company they placed me with. That's it. That's the only nit I could find to pick.
