Pros

- Great benefits - Previously open to remote work - Talented and kind teammates (but unfortunately, many have left the company)

Cons

- Overall culture of micromanagement from the top down - Rotating door of incredible talent leaving due to poor leadership and lack of clear vision - The gaslighting from executive leadership is real - Unclear on what the path forward is, so there's a general "let's throw things at the wall and see what sticks" approach to everything - Inability to uphold boundaries and work life balance will be praised by leadership - You're given a false sense of autonomy but ultimately, give up and accept the dysfunctional environment and lack of direction because it's a paycheck

Pros

- Remote work, seemingly permanently, a pro for me - You'll work with incredible people (until they flee) - You will learn so much about yourself & your personal limits

Cons

If you take one thing away from this review, let it be that this is one of the worst companies you could ever work for. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy work here, and I once gave that person lice on purpose. Do not apply, do not interview, do not get acquired by Everly Health. You will regret it. It is a rotating door of incredible talent that they cannot keep due to terrible leadership. Said leadership is routinely guilty of gaslighting their employees, steamrolling boundaries, and even, at times, being abusive. This behavior seems to start with the CEO and CMO and trickles down company-wide. They do not take feedback well, and are more likely to retaliate to criticism rather than grow from it. The company and leaders are clearly unsure on the path forward, with products, priorities, goals, and forecasts constantly changing, further contributing to an all-around terrible work environment. Protect yourself, your health, your friends, your family.

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. First and foremost, I would like to assure you that our legal team does not write letters to Glassdoor - they’ve never been involved in any way. Glassdoor doesn’t allow anyone (lawyers or otherwise) to remove or alter reviews unless they are fraudulent or contain profanity, threats, or other things that violate Glassdoor’s community guidelines. The only people who respond to reviews or manage this account are HR or comms employees, or occasionally our CEO. None of us are lawyers. (BTW - Hi there! My name is Stace, and I’m Everlywell’s head of people). I do want to say, I was really sad to read your review. Although you’re no longer with us, if there’s any feedback you’d like to share with us so we can be better, please don’t hesitate to reach out at people@everlywell.com. Transparency is indeed a company value, which is why we conduct anonymous employee feedback surveys twice a year and maintain several anonymous and non-anonymous ways of providing feedback. For anyone reading along, the results of our latest anonymous survey showed that 75% of employees gave us the highest rating possible as a great place to work, while 95% of respondents said they were proud to work for Everlywell. That said, we aren’t perfect and we realize feedback from past employees can help us be better. Stace
