Pros

Decent hours but benefits cut every year; regular people trying their best in face of really stupid senior management decisions

Cons

Awful morale, incompetent leadership, bad decision making, constant funding cuts to make wall st happy and outsourcing. People are told straight up -- if you don't like it then leave

Changes, changes and more changes, few of them good.

Pros

The pay and general work environment is still good, safety is a top priority. Benefits are good, but they are being reduced and limited. It's not a bad place to work, but it's not nearly as good as it once was.

Cons

Changes being implemented throughout the company following the merger, are being pushed out without full considerations, which is leaving gaps in processes. Entire departments are being eliminated and outsource, but those who use those services aren't being told about the changes. Lots of training, none of it in person where you can ask questions that the training doesn't cover.

As a long term employee, you've seen a lot of change happen in the company as a result of the merger and to continue provide superior service and competitive pricing for our customers. Change is never easy, but our employees opinions are valuable and we want to take your input into consideration. Can you please reach out for a 1:1 conversation @ careers@eversource.com

Outsourcing of Jobs

Pros

Benefits are still good and flexible hour when required.

Cons

Outsourcing of jobs to contractors that do not have the skill set to do what is given to them. This causes a slow down elimination of doing impactful projects. Merger with NSTAR has crippled employee morale.
