Pros

Employees try to make the best of things and are nice to work with for the most part

Cons

Company is old school tough to work for. They don’t care about their employees and after workers have been here a while they know they won’t leave so they squeeze every ounce of work out of them.

Pros

nice people to work with good work location

Cons

low pay EXTREMELY low pay when you factor in the mandatory storm duty you have to perform every other week without pay. Management is all about the profit and none about the employees

We are sorry to hear your frustrations. I hope you are able to speak with your Manager or HR about your concerns. Our emergency response is mandatory so that we can provide the best service to our customers and restorepower as quickly as possible. It does at time require additional hours, but we implemented a storm pay policy which should help remedy that.

Pros

I can't think of any.

Cons

*Micro-management has always been a problem here. Some of the supervisors/managers had entitlement issues and were bullies if they didn't like you. They will let you know 5 mins before you leave that you need to do mandatory overtime for 4-6 more hours. If you have any problems in your schedule, (i.e. kids or personal family emergencies) they remind you that this is what you signed up for, even though they never told you that, "this" is what you were signing up for. It will go against you in your review. They constantly remind you that you can't make the money/benefits here anywhere else to try to keep you there.
