Old school boy club mentality still prevails and company progress is limited by siloes and mini kingdoms. When upper management leads this way, who follows? Everyone else that reports to them. So even if you have good intentions, your hands are cuffed and you get bullied into being a “yes” man. If you don’t have the same background, look like, act like, or fit in with the clique, be prepared to get iced out or thrown under the bus. Lots of finger pointing, blame, backstabbing and scapegoating when problems occur versus collaborating to really make Eversource a leading company and employer in New England.
