fresh fruit in the mornings

Cons

Culture of secrecy (several in my team learn about our own team's projects through subterfuge), cannot work from home (unless you are of the elite chosen), have unlimited PTO that you cant use (unless you are chosen -- heard there's an employee who takes off 1 day every week), home-work balance is not considered at all, extremely political (hard work and results are not rewarded -- brown nosing is), elitist culture (no one acknowledges anyone -- people walk right past you and do not acknowledge your existence!)

Pros

9-6 for most people, unless you're the lucky few who are caught up in last minute projects due to lack of planning. Fresh fruit in the mornings. individual teams have good camaraderie.

Cons

Terrible/no business planning, risky business ventures, instability in many forms. Uncompetitive compensation. Very cliquey/bro-y. High turnover/frequent layoffs. Seems like the companies numbers are made off people's salaries (by letting them go).

Really developed my career here, and was supported and encouraged to do so. Had wonderful mentors. Liked the fun, young-ish atmosphere

Cons

As the company grew, it became a more tense and even hostile place to work. The positive, creative, dynamic atmosphere took a bit of a dive and it became somewhat of a shark tank
