Thank you for sharing your feedback as part of the EIM team. It’s great to hear that the remote work structure and work-life balance are supporting you well. We want our teams to feel valued, and input like this is part of how we continue to strengthen the employee experience.

Pros

The company was great when it was smaller. They sell you on the mission when you start, which is great but unfortunately they don’t follow it. Accessible education, yes. Affordable? Not at all. Not to mention we’ve saturated the market and compete against ourselves. Between Admissions and ClinEd sites, there will be a point where people no longer partner with the company. Reddit posts from students now saying how these programs aren’t worth it are solidifying my desire to leave. The culture WAS incredible but it’s completely gone. Benefits can be decent. Everything that was great is no longer here, everything else has gone downhill.

Cons

Compensation is terrible. Everyone is sorely underpaid for what’s expected. The bonus opportunity is a waste. You will never get 100% and this year the bonuses came in June when they should’ve been paid out in March. You will absolutely not be promoted unless you are a suck up. If you’re not the favorite, don’t even try to apply for other positions. Leadership is great at managing people out. There is no HR presence, so take what you want with that. In my opinion it’s why Senior leadership is even worse. There is no such thing as an open door policy or innovation. The only people that cared about how employees felt are gone. This company has become corporate and leadership does not want your opinion. In fact, you can fired for your opinion. This place is like a high school boarding school. I can’t reiterate enough that the culture is dead. Just because you do a Halloween contest, does not mean the company is fun. It’s no longer safe to make an error, mistakes are red dots on your forehead. I’ve never been more disappointed in senior leadership than I am at this company who I’ve seen fail so many people. CEO approval? What ceo, dude never shows his face in office, I’ve seen him maybe once. This company makes you feel like you are replaceable and you are, which is why I’m applying for other jobs along with the 10 other people I know trying to leave.
