Pros

Working at Evidence In Motion (EIM) has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has not always been easy but it has always been fulfilling. Nothing that is worthwhile will be easy or stress free! You definitely won't be on "auto-pilot" here but you will 100% be developing your skills, working autonomously, and making an actual impact. The company fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and CURIOSITY, making it ideal for professionals who actually want to work hard and make their mark in the area they're passionate in. The leadership team is genuinely invested in the success and development of its employees. Do they always get it right? Nope. Nobody ever does. But what is most important is that they listen. They care. They inspect. And they meet people where they are. They spend actual 1-1 time with team members who have something to share. They openly implement suggestions and discuss ways to turn things around when they receive tough feedback. They provide numerous opportunities for professional growth, whether through mentorship, executive coaching, or participation in industry-leading conferences. They prioritize team building, fun, and a sense of community. They want EIM to be a place where humans are valued, so they may in turn power an incredibly humanizing mission in health care education. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, so yes...some may find it hard to keep up. But it’s exciting for many who are looking to grow. It's also a very supportive and inclusive atmosphere, which means that even when you struggle, there's someone by your side to share and solution with. The team has so many talented and driven individuals who are always willing to lend a hand and share their expertise. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie, and the collaborative atmosphere makes even the most challenging projects enjoyable. One of the standout aspects of EIM is its commitment to making a difference both internally and externally. It is still charting its path, but has a very clear vision - a focus on improving healthcare education and clinical practice. This is truly inspiring, because real people in real communities will benefit from it for generations to come! It is very exciting to be part of a team that understands its purpose and mission in the world and is committed to making it happen. Overall, EIM is an exceptional place to work if you’re looking for a company that values innovation, supports your professional growth, and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the world. I’m proud to be part of the EIM team!

Cons

What comes with the territory - challenges and some stress are going to happen in environments where people are building and solutioning for the future! If you’re looking for a perfect place, with perfect people and perfect management, this is not it. But neither are likely any companies out there. Ask yourself what sets your heart on fire when you think about your line of work. Then rest assured that at EIM you’d get people who will care about what you are passionate about and about you.

Pros

The company was great when it was smaller. They sell you on the mission when you start, which is great but unfortunately they don’t follow it. Accessible education, yes. Affordable? Not at all. Not to mention we’ve saturated the market and compete against ourselves. Between Admissions and ClinEd sites, there will be a point where people no longer partner with the company. Reddit posts from students now saying how these programs aren’t worth it are solidifying my desire to leave. The culture WAS incredible but it’s completely gone. Benefits can be decent. Everything that was great is no longer here, everything else has gone downhill.

Cons

Compensation is terrible. Everyone is sorely underpaid for what’s expected. The bonus opportunity is a waste. You will never get 100% and this year the bonuses came in June when they should’ve been paid out in March. You will absolutely not be promoted unless you are a suck up. If you’re not the favorite, don’t even try to apply for other positions. Leadership is great at managing people out. There is no HR presence, so take what you want with that. In my opinion it’s why Senior leadership is even worse. There is no such thing as an open door policy or innovation. The only people that cared about how employees felt are gone. This company has become corporate and leadership does not want your opinion. In fact, you can fired for your opinion. This place is like a high school boarding school. I can’t reiterate enough that the culture is dead. Just because you do a Halloween contest, does not mean the company is fun. It’s no longer safe to make an error, mistakes are red dots on your forehead. I’ve never been more disappointed in senior leadership than I am at this company who I’ve seen fail so many people. CEO approval? What ceo, dude never shows his face in office, I’ve seen him maybe once. This company makes you feel like you are replaceable and you are, which is why I’m applying for other jobs along with the 10 other people I know trying to leave.
