Pros

They have 25 yearly PTO days and a good WFH policy.

Cons

The management is horrible, they do not let you be innovative, all your ideas are pushed back. They have put people in manager's position who should not have been there in the first place. They also seem to lay-off employees quarterly.

Pros

Starting salary is higher than market, encourage career growth, location, benefits

Cons

Management is a mess starting at the executive level trickling down. Management cares more about meeting deadlines than having properly trained employees. If you don’t mind brown nosing, you’ll do just fine. Company values transparency, however, there is none with leadership. Company has fallen on hard financial times that’s causing this ugliness to be exposed that used to not exist. As a result, team morale is in the basement. We received no annual pay raise. Our bonuses were slashed to ribbons. New hourly employees’ PTO has been reduced from 25 days to 15. They’re trying to move as many clients as possible to India. The fate of our department, soon the company, is very uncertain. They keep talking about all the work that is coming in that will replace all the work that is leaving. However, when you look at what’s coming in, it’s not enough to replace what we’re losing.

The Titanic – yikes, what a comparison. We’re glad that you haven’t hopped in a life boat just yet though. Transparency remains a priority and communication is being shared through multiple channels on a regular basis (check out Sharepoint for any that you may have missed). We also encourage you to bring concerns up with our talent team or with Safe Space Ambassadors. We want Evolent culture to be prevalent in all offices – including Chicago. We hope that you took advantage of our Engagement survey as an opportunity to confidentially share your feedback about your manager, team, and the company overall.

Pros

Good benefits, focus on culture, interesting mission. Depending on the department you're involved with, the experience could be very good/positive.

Cons

Inexperienced management team, poor/inadequate infrastructure, unreasonable demands resulting from poor infrastructure, rapid promotion of entry level analysts to director level positions creates a title heavy environment of leaders with large egos, but without the knowledge or experience to deliver. Leads to frustration from those who report to inexperienced managers. Huge amounts of turnover related to management's inability to even understand, much less address, root causes. Even if the work is interesting, when there's no end in sight to the heavy amounts of pointless work, it's impossible to stay motivated.
