Great place for developers

Pros

Almost no turnover in development. Good balance for new features vs updating legacy code. Actually have short term and long term roadmap. Eng teams strong technically and very supportive. Interesting work in hardware integration, performance, Linux, C++, Java, UI, etc. Dev's WFH Mon/Fri, with Tue-Thu in office.

Cons

hybrid scrum/waterfall rather than pure scrum. Running on Rocky/RHEL means a bit of a lag behind latest GCC, JRE, python.

Pros

Great technical training from the CEO on a daily and weekly basis. Potential for huge commissions from large enterprise deals. Excellent base pay and benefits.

Cons

Small fraction of US team is able to make quota. No inbound leads. Not allowed to contact resellers. Culture is fear based. No president's club. No work from home allowed due to CEO's bizarre fear that everyone is inherently out to milk the system. No room for growth - this is made clear up front however, which was appreciated.
