Pros

It's rare to work at a place that puts culture ahead of everything. Many claim to; few do it. Expel onboarding starts with it. Tools measure it. Execs invest in it and focus on it from interviews to monthly meetings and 1 on 1s. This place believes that happier employees take better care of customers and it's not pollyanna crap - it's real and pronounced.

Cons

None yet, but it's a young company and growth often stresses things.

Pros

Having worked at real (chaotic) start-ups and also having worked at a giant bank that positions itself as a tech company (spoiler alert, lots of red tape), I feel like I am having a Goldilocks moment at Expel- It's just right. Pros include: -Spectacular health benefits -Actual unlimited PTO that is easy to take and that you are encouraged to take -Flexibility around WFH and hours in office -Super accommodating to families, I was hired while pregnant -Snacks and food in office and free company lunch on Wednesdays -Reserved parking for anyone who's NOT in leadership which makes me giggle -Product/Service environment that leaves you confident you are doing a good thing and really helping customers -Growing extremely quickly and well-funded, total transparency around funding and money situation which was key for me, having worked at a company who was running out of money -Still small enough that you can work in a way that is impactful on the success of the business

Cons

-Growing quickly is fun but when it's done in a thoughtful way there can be a good amount of stopping and starting again, mostly to ensure the company isn't biting off more than it can chew. -About 25% fully remote staff paired with lots of WFH flexibility and PTO can mean parts of the office are super quiet some days

Pros

There is so much room for growth here and the vibrant, young startup feel makes for an awesome differentiator from the typical tech firm. As a recent college grad, I can confidently say that you won't find benefits like this anywhere else out of college.

Cons

Making sales calls is never a cake walk, but it's amazingly helpful that we have a phenomenal product to sell.
