Pros

Guest's that come to the hotel that I have gotten to meet.

Cons

Long hours, not able to get staff to stick to schedule, no real support from senior management. This company acts like they have never ran a hotel business before. One day they start a new policy and then a week later without giving the policy a chance they change it. This is a good old boys club and its all who you know. They have fired good managers over the past 3 years because they have come with options that did not fit the new mold of the new collective.

Pros

Wait for it........ Nope can't think of anything

Cons

absolutely no regards for family life. Well under paid for the 12-13 hour days you make. No comprising from corporate. Almost 700 hotels and every Hotel is to be on the same schedule. It doesn't matter if you have a 70 room Hotel or a 150 room Hotel. Your buying budget ($1000) is just the same. Oh I'm sorry my dear guests, I do not have any towels to provide to you today because our corporate office keeps cutting my order. I do apologize for this inconvenience. Also please don't forget to write a negative review on one of the big review sites that this manager does a bad job managing his property because when something breaks, they can't replace. God forbid you have stock on any supplies. On call 24-7, helping with Housekeeping because you have no linen or towels and your housekeepers can't wait an hour for the laundry to be done, (So manager has to do it), make sure you squeeze in your sales swarming, drive bys, reports, r4r etc, etc. I love the business that I'm in but this company has gone and list all its personality and also its care for its employees. This used to be a good place to work at but no longer. In order to work for esa you must not have a life and be on auto attendant. That's the only way to be able to survive. :-( sad to see this company going into this direction.
