Pros

At this point the 7 free nights is the highest Pro for me. Meeting some 'interesting Guests'. I work alone, hence Less Drama (Petty Patti's - I call it, when working with bone carrying, back biting people).

Cons

Wow, Where do I Start???? OMG, let me say, "My Ideas & Values for providing Excellent Customer Care & Service DOESN'T seem to match that of the Company (well at least MY Superiors)!! I was 'Asked Specific & Key ' questions in my interview about delivering the Highest Quality of Service, but I'm left feeling like, I'm NOT Really Expected to Deliver such. Speaking of my location Specifically, the Guests are Not treated as Guests, they are treated like Inmates at a Criminal Corrections Institution!! There are some Guest that are Unsavory, SCHECHY, & Deserving of such treatment. However, I offer Each and Everyone of my Guests the courtesy of 2 impressions, before forming my opinion of them. I go Above & Beyond for My Guests, that Often causes a Problem for Management and others. Job Titles' are Everything to some, however the Performance of the duties intaled Are Not Met!! Not to mention, I only received Laundry Training, No GSR/Night GSR training what so ever!! I was THRUST into my position and left in the 'WILD' to survive on my OWN!! Thrown in to the Deep end of the pool, so to speak, do I Sink or SWIM! Too many scenarios where I've called my GM only for no phone answering or call back Ever!!! I Love the shift that I work, because it Accommodates my family life. However, I call it the 'POOP SHIFT'!!!!! Because I am Expected to Perform the duties of Morning & Evening Shift (MGR, GSR, HOUSEKEEPING & CUSTODIAL), Be onsite Security Inside & Out; Plus OverNight GSR! Here's the kicker, in Addition to ALL of that, I'm supposed to COMPLETE the Washing, Folding, & Stocking of ALL Daily Laundry && Dishes!!! What are my wages for performing Everyone's job duties????? $10! Which I had to ask for, I was offered something LOWER! WHY AM I STILL THERE? The fact that it's a Job & the shift Accommodates the needs of my family!! I Don't plan on being here Forever, I'm gaining experience in a variety of positions and will ultimately use that to pursue better employment Elsewhere!!! I would produce a Novel, if I were to continue with All of the Cons I've Witnessed/Experienced in my Short time with the Company. I am Determined to be a Champion for MY Guests (My Civil minded, Classy, & Respectful Guests!). No Matter who's toes I step on! The GUESTS are the Reason we All have jobs to begin with.
