Just responsibilities grow not the pay. No life balance, amount of hours you have to put in to run the hotel is ridiculous. Everything is you, "one man operation"

Pay was terrible. 1 maintenance engineer for 101 rooms and not allowed to work overtime. Impossible to complete all work in 40 hour week. Overworked and underpaid. How does upper management expect employees to provide guests with top notch customer service when employees are treated so poorly. Its a disgrace.

Pay is decent but not stellar, the experience truly hinges on the upper management you get dealt.

Cons

This company is extremely CHEAP! It's not about the guest experience, it's about the bottom-line - in a big way. One property I managed had 3 model rooms from 3 previous reno attempts that stalled. Your time will be extremely micromanaged. You are allowed only 1 full-time employee besides the maintenance engineer, and even a fraction of an hour of OT for any employees will find you on a conference call with corporate. Please note - these are not exaggerations.
