      Average-poor compensation. They expect a lot and offer little in return. Employees loose enthusiasm.

      Pros

      One of the only benifits of working for ExtendedStay Hotels is that I moved up within the organization and earned a title that could not be taken from me.

      Cons

      It is very micro-managed. There is no management trainging classes, the pay is not good and the hotel's overall knowledged compared to other hotels and school is not comparable at all.

      If you follow the rules & do above standard work, it will be recognized by the managers or corporate and you may be rewarded. Full time benefits are good! Some really good & genuinely honest people at this company, a great place to thrive & grow. Potential future if you're ambitious and in the right circle of management!

      Cons

      This is one of those companies where politics & who you know matter to a large degree. If your manager doesn't like you, transfer or find a better job. I've worked for 10 years for this company hoping that my efforts would be recognized beyond local management. I can say that my managers were the worst I've ever had to communicate with in my life. They overlooked & suppressed some major issues & cast blame when things were beyond their control.
