Pros

Nothing. You will be lucky to make it out alive.

Cons

I have witnessed robberies, one armed, been followed home by strung out guests, been screamed at by drunks, etc. This hotel chain caters to the absolute lowest of the low of society. Your managers will treat you like garbage. If you show any hospitality knowledge, your assistant manager will take it as a threat and treat you like less than a human. It's not a "front desk" job. They force you to do laundry, clean the public toilets, clean all the public areas in addition to checking in 15 people into sub par and disgusting rooms per day.

Pros

There's not much pros to write about.

Cons

Managers are told they won't have to do front desk shifts. This is in fact a lie. You might end up doing two shifts a day, and multiple times a week for many weeks. No help or support from management. Expected to improve business, but they don't want to spend money on improvements, or even fixing basic items. To fix basic items, you have to put in a work order with corporate, that might not get looked at because it's too expensive to fix, or upper management doesn't approve. District Manager holds weekly meetings, but doesn't bother visiting properties and addressing issues.

Pros

Several free nights a year at extended stay hotels

Cons

Working alone 2nd shift and third shift, no security, no help from management, was threatened several times by guests and nothing was done, expected to run up to rooms to deliver dishes etc alone at night. Not a safe place to work.
