      Not a good model for hotel management experience

      Pros

      Insurance, accruing paid vacation. And a DM who showed all of us she wasn't afraid to pitch in and help. ( Thank you Teresa Taylor)

      Cons

      I was fired for putting people first, and caring for our community. No home/work balance ( I was averaging 96 hours a week the last 6 weeks I was employed with them). Trying to recruit new employees is an absolute nightmare, especially when we have to explain to possible candidates what is expected of them, so finding good people if very diffcult.

      Pros

      None! Company is cheap and requires long hours and pays less than competitors. No raises. No promotions. No opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      Esa says it's people focused but I watched them fire many exelent employees when they had bad quorter and demote others who do enormous amount of work for less money. Shameful esa. Shameful!

      For the most part adequate training was required

      Cons

      The company asks too much of their employees in order to try to eek out a profit. They are incredible penny-pinchers. Their business model leads to poor employee morale, high turnover and much strife. The clientele and the hotels are bottom shelf.
