Poor middle management and HR. The middle management was probably the most incompetent workers I am working with. Little or no raises. Even worse when inflation is high, you are essentially getting a pay cut if your raises are lower than inflation rates. Unless you have a passion for AV, you are really limiting your skills as an engineer the longer you stay here. —to the point where you might get stuck. Pro tip: Threaten to leave with a job offer from another company to get a promotion or raise. Otherwise, they will try to give you the bare minimum.

Management at Extron is horrible. Cult like atmosphere where most managers at Extron started from the bottom to now being in managerial positions with no experience in their managerial skill sets. Most managers are friends of friends, or now married amongst each other. Some managers do have underlined racist tones and it is very well known to show favoritism towards certain team members that they enjoy boosting their egos. This will never be addressed due to friends of friends taking up for each other. Extron has had lawsuits in the past and I am very sure they will endure more in the future .
