Pros

The work at FINRA is interesting, in the member reg department you gain exposure to all aspects of the securities industry and high level executives on wall street.

Cons

there can be a lack of growth opportunity. the hiring practices don't make any sense sometimes. alongside very competent and intelligent staff will be people who are clueless, which causes work to be unevenly distributed.
