      Pros

      The old gang was a family and could do anything. I never thought I would say this but being let go was the BEST thing that could ever happen to me!

      Cons

      There is no more old gang left as they have been weeding out. Now they hire people who are yes men. God forbid you have an opinion keep it to yourself . or say good bye even if you had a 17+ years and had a great track record. If you are willing to do unethical stuff you will fit right in. If you speak up and your not playing their games you are fired. So if you are smart, stay away!

      Pros

      Due to the lousy location of the headquarters, there's flexibility with one's hours or working remotely. You'll want to take advantage of this because working with the upper management or executives is nauseating.

      Cons

      There's no level of professionalism at this company. If you're a middle-aged/elderly white male you could be golden, since it's an old boys' club. There's definitely an element of smoke and mirrors in everything the executive board does. Right now, they're trying to fool the DuPont folks who came over from a recent acquisition into thinking they have any control regarding their future and that of the business. The legacy FMC people know the "It's an exciting time" mantra is crap! All that means is more work will be dumped on you and only the top tier will get the bonuses to reflect your hard work.

      Pros

      Good Pay, great location, generally good people, and a fun business with cool technologies.

      Cons

      Directors are horrible, lack leadership and generally in it for themselves only. Professional development is non-existent. General hire external instead of from within.
