Pros

There simply isn't much. Expectations were high, but so far have not come close to being met.

Cons

If you are a potential customer of this company, don't be fooled by all the grandiose promises you receive during the sales pitch. They are all puff and fluff. The software is extremely dated and not at all intuitive. Even worse than the product is the service. Horrible response times, sometimes none at all - you must keep on pestering them to do their jobs. They have little interest in helping you solve the issues you continuously have with their obsolete product. Believe me, it simply does not work efficiently. You tend to spend as much time trying to solve weird problems than anything else, and your workforce is constantly frustrated and on edge because of it. The naming labels used for things in the software often do not make any sense thus confusing those needing to use the system. It's as if they have very little understanding of real estate terminology. I wish I could say something positive, but I'm still waiting for good things to occur. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone who requires technology help them become more efficient. Lousy company, lousy service.

Just some good ole boys...

Pros

Break room has fountain drinks and snacks, weekly recognition for positive group interactions, health benefits were very reasonable

Cons

- Raises? Non-existent. - Career advancement? I hope you like the job you were hired to do because opportunities are few and far between. - If you do want to move up in the company, you better know somebody because the whole place is predicated by a good ole boy network of long-timers and ass-kissers. You have to socialize with management to get in their graces, but if someone who is already there speaks ill of you, true or not, you're doomed. - No margin for error in the company's financials. When they get cash-strapped, which has been happening more and more often lately with the soft real estate market, they found that they can make budget by first, cutting overall salaries by a percentage...then by releasing employees. Granted, temporary salary cuts are not necessarily unexpected to deal with sudden downward market pressures, but both times it happened in my 2 1/2 years there, salaries never returned to their previous levels because they tied to monthly revenue goals...but the new monthly goals were set much higher than previous years' expectations. - Salary cuts were tougher on lower- and middle-income employees. - When times were good, budget was squirreled away or eaten by a new project...never sent as bonuses or raises. When times were bad, salary, benefit, and employment cuts were the norm.
