Pros

Some co-workers were great. Good location.

Cons

Very much a good ole boys club. If you are a woman, you will not be heard so don't even try. You're not given enough quality work to keep you busy, You'll never advance.

Pros

Large company that seems stable.

Cons

I don't know a ton about the Missouri side of the business but the Power Systems and Power Systems Rental is a joke. I don't know how they didn't mention it, on purpose or they forgot, but I didn't find out that I would be on call every third week for the entire week 24/7 until I was a month into the position. How do you not bring that up in an interview? Now I know why the turnover was so high for that position. They are super weak in WI and it's a perpetual problem since they won't invest in equipment to support the sales. They live by an old motto where you have to make customer visits in person versus prequalifying or doing legwork over the phone. Onboarding was a joke and so was training. Thanks to a coworker he trained me but a lot of it was me figuring it out. On my first day my manager saw me when he arrived that morning and walked straight to his office. I didn't see him until a few hours later. Why would you not want to at least go say hi and let a new hire know you'd catch up with them later? Lots of favoritism for the Missouri locations over Wisconsin. I should have listened to my gut feeling when they could hardly provide any info about their vehicle reimbursement program. I had to hound them for it and it was a big deal for me because they were requiring a certain vehicle, which I would have had to purchase with my own money.
