Pros

I am brand new to the organization, but from what I can tell so far is that everybody seems to be professional and seem to be open to innovation and learning opportunities. The culture also seems to be collaborative and inclusive. The work/life balance also seems like it is in proper proportion. I also value that the communication has been clear and open so far.

Cons

There are several areas where the company can improve on their marketing, branding, and reputation management. We are currently working on that.

Job Security: Employees have worked here for 20+ years Opportunity to Grow: Employees have an opportunity to find another position that best fits their ability and skill set Work from Home: Work-Life balance is great Good Peers- People are usually great to work with Good Pay- Stable pay Small company- family like Loyalty-to its employees Diversity- different offices around the world that work well with each other.

Cons

*Increase Employee Engagement: -Quarterly Employees Meeting -Birthday, retirements, anniversary announcements -Quarterly Internal Newsletter -Bi-Yearly company get-together -Quarterly Trainings on current and new products -Company-wide or Departmental Incentives :) etc.

Pros

Work from home, flexibility…… The small teams sometimes fosters great synergy when those personnel are not pulled into too many over-bearing projects all at once. Which is an issue.

Cons

Compensation and bonuses.. Fairfax is not really competitive against industry peers, and it shows with the constant turnover and resource issues.
