Pros

Nice people. Kind environment and respectful of others. A focus on helping patients even in all of IT. Everyone is usually nice to you!

Cons

Old school thinking, especially with now telling everyone they are expected to be in the office 5 days a week. For those of us in IT our customers are all over the place so we really can work from anywhere. It's turning into a Nanny State because people abused the ROWE work flexibility. After having been to Facebook and other places, being asked to be on the office, when no one you work with is in that office is nothing more than them keeping an eye on you. It's 1980's thinking based of a ideal of team collaboration that never happens.

Pros

Excellent electronic medical record tools. Support staff hard working and part of the team excelling at patient care.

Cons

Work Expectation is to see a patient every 20 minutes. 36 hours patient/provider face to face contact per week and 4 hours for documentation and correspondence is not adequate. Need to address acute, chronic and preventative care at every visit. Staff meetings are over lunch or before or after work- time.

Pros

Pay & benefits were good, co-workers were wonderful however that doesn't make up for the poor leadership and the negative energy that surrounds you.

Cons

Work loads are not evenly distributed! A lot of favoritism is played. You shouldn't work where you fear your manager. There's a lot of issues with the leadership. The business structure continually changes. LACK OF TRUST is a given! HR is there to support and protect management and never the employees. Managers/Directors talk poorly about employees to other employees - it's really unprofessional. The constant restructuring of departments leads to completely different leadership styles, personality differences, dramatic differences in goals & expectations, the turn over rate, and ultimately it affects the dynamics of a great team. Your yearly expectations will change with the wind so reviews are not accurate to say the least.
