Pros

* Much opportunity to learn and develop your individual skill set. * Plenty of room to grow and develop to the next level. * Always something new to do.

Cons

* Poor leadership/Some of the leadership is old and needs to be revamped. * Unrealistic expectations; you are required to do a lot with little support. * Poor compensation for the volume of work expected from each individual. * You are required to be a jack of all trades and not make any mistakes.

Pros

Holiday pay is great, benefits are great and relatively inexpensive, starting pay is reasonable.

Cons

Training is quick and slightly uninvolved. If you are able to learn by observing with little instruction at all then this will be a good job for you. Raises do not come often and are when they do are so small it is insulting. I worked there for two years full-time, and got one raise. It was a 26 cent raise. My evaluation's both times were great--yet I was only bumped slightly. I heard of others getting nickel raises. This is a multi-billion dollar company yet they do not properly recognize loyal hard work. This is not only my opinion, even the center manager who has been with the company for 20 years feels the same. He would sympathetically say, "my hands are tied". This isn't a bad transitional job, but don't get stuck.

Pros

No crazy hours, shifts kept the same week to week. Nice people to work with.

Cons

I did not received the training I was promised. You have to wear a name tag and get get written up (kindergarten much?) for not wearing one, or forgetting. During the rush hours, it can seem like black Friday at Macy's. The did not have the staff support needed for such an operation. Had to schedule sick days. I worked half of my shift alone, and people worked Saturdays and Sunday's alone. Absolutely no work/life balance. Due to a lack of training, there was no room for advancement.
